Where would we be without our mothers? They do so much for us and I know that my mom has always gone above and beyond to be there for me and care for me. I love my mom with all my heart and I celebrate her today and all that she does.
My mom is ONE OF A KIND.
She's taught me to be steady and faithful in the gospel and she taught me to love my Savior. My mom has gotten me through rough relationships and friendships, break ups and heartaches. My mom has sacrificed so much of her time and own needs to make sure mine were met.
My mom is EXTRAORDINARY.
She has always taken her time to talk to me and I'm so grateful for that relationship that I have with her. I have always been so comfortable facing her to tell her things that I've done wrong, or to talk to her about personal things which cause me to struggle. I will never be more grateful for that. I can't even imagine having a mom that I couldn't talk to. She's more than a mom..
She's a best friend.
My mom is an ENTERTAINER.
She is always smoothing out the rough in situations with her humor.
Not only does she sing weird songs to you to make you laugh,
Tell you stories that makes no sense,
& even dance to the beat of her own drum..
She can always make you laugh and take your stress or pain away by one silly joke.
My mom is BEAUTIFUL. Inside and out.
When I was little & scared or couldn't sleep at night, my mom used to sing to me:
"Just remember I love you & it will be alright..
Just remember I love you more than I can say."
Even now when I'm scared or afraid she still provides that comfort,
Even just by saying "I love you."
I will never be more grateful for her and all that she's taught me,
given me, or shared with me.
My mom is STRONG.
She has had so many trials and challenges in raising her kids,
especially raising special needs kids & she has fulfilled that job exceptionally well.
I look up to her faith, strength in all things & her testimony.
I love you so much mom!
I am going to miss you so much when I move away,
but I will always keep you in my heart.
Everything you've prepared me for in my future will be tested &
I wouldn't be able to do it without all the things you've taught me.
Thank you for being my rock, my teacher and most importantly my friend.
Love, Erin
