A Picture Of Something You Wish You Could Forget:
I wish I could forget how it felt holding my shaking little brother in my arms. I wish I could forget his screams and the look of terror on his face every time he had a seizure. I wish I could forget how much my mom cried and how scared my other siblings were. It is something I wish I could forget more than anything, but I have learned so much from my baby brother having epilepsy. It is probably the hardest and scariest thing you could ever experience watching a little boy have a seizure every morning before you left for school. It was for me.
I love my brother, he is my little buddy and I feel so blessed to have him in my life. Ethan has been seizure free for 2 years now and for that I am truly grateful. He is improving every day, and we are so lucky to have him.
Love, Erin
